DLState DLExp Address Primary Phone&Type AdditionalContact Number&Type Additional Contact Number&Type Race Sex DOB- Height Weight Even Hair Collision 2025-00080569 Paqe 2 OF 5 Case Number 2025-00080569 Officer Narrative Narrative On 12/09/2025, 1 was working uniformed patrol in a marked police car as 3R23.At approximately 2348 hours, I was dispatched to a non-injury-non-blocking accident at the intersection of Aberdeen Ave NE/NE 27th St, which is located within the city limits of Renton, County of King, Washington. Dispatch advised that the caller reported an accident at the location, with the other involved party having no motor vehicle insurance. When I arrived at the call location, 1 was able to locate the two involved vehicles, and their occupants as listed above. I was able to speak to the driver of Unit 1. My conversation with him is summarized as follows: The driver of Unit 1 stated he was headed westbound on NE 27th St, approaching Aberdeen Ave NE.This intersection is a 4-way stop intersection. The driver of Unit 1 saw an unknown vehicle in the southbound lane of Aberdeen Ave NE cross into the intersection to continue southbound. Unit 1 proceeded into the intersection to continue westbound on NE 27th St and did not see Unit 2,which was already in the northbound lanes of Aberdeen Ave NE.This resulted in the front end of Unit 1 striking the passenger side of Unit 2. Unit 1 admitted that he did not see Unit 2 already in the intersection during the collision. I took a look around Unit 1. 1 saw that the front bumper of Unit 1 was dented inward, but still appeared to be drivable. Unit 1 reported no injuries at this time. Unit 1 also mentioned he had a front passenger inside his vehicle during the time of the collision, as listed above.This passenger had left the location with another friend who had picked him up.The driver of Unit 1 was unable to provide me with any contact information or address for his passenger, and I was unable to contact him at this time. The driver of Unit 1 did mention that his front passenger was uninjured. The driver of Unit 1 was able to provide me with his driver's license and vehicle registration. The driver of Unit 1 stated he did not have motor vehicle insurance. My conversation with him is summarized as follows: The driver of Unit 2 stated he was headed northbound on Aberdeen Ave NE, approaching NE 27th St. He mentioned that he was already stopped at the intersection and noticed Unit 1 in the westbound lanes as he approached the same intersection. The driver of Unit 2 mentioned he continued northbound on Aberdeen Ave NE to cross NE 27th St when Unit 1 suddenly struck his passenger side. Unit 2 did not recall seeing another vehicle headed southbound on Aberdeen Ave NE as reported by Unit 1. I took a look around Unit 1. Unit 1's passenger side front wheel appeared to be slightly canted inward with some swiping marks along the passenger side doors. Unit 1 did not report any injuries at this time. Unit 1 was able to provide me with his driver's license,vehicle registration, and proof of insurance. Based on the fact that the driver of Unit 1 was operating a motor vehicle and did not have any form of motor vehicle insurance, I cited the driver for RCW 46.30.020-Operating a motor vehicle without insurance. Other officers at the location took photos and uploaded them to Evidence.com to be added to the case file. I provided both parties with a Renton PD business card with the associated case number for their records. Both Unit 1 and Unit 2 were able to leave the location in their respective vehicles and go back home.
