The City of Renton seeks community partners to activate Legacy Square with free,
inclusive programming from July 20 – Oct 1, 2026. Opportunities include live
performances, art installations, workshops, family activities, markets, and other creative
ideas that engage the public and highlight local culture.
City Provides: Use of Legacy Square (stage, seating, plaza), assistance with permitting and
safety requirements, and promotion on City platforms.
Partner Requirements: Manage logistics, staffing, volunteers, and provide proposed
schedule and audience estimates.
Submit a brief statement of interest including your concept, preferred dates, estimated
attendance, staffing plan, and previous experience via email to jkotarski@rentonwa.gov
by Jan 9, 2026.
Selected respondents may be invited to submit a full proposal, potentially including
funding support.
