DLState DLExp Address Primary Phone&Type AdditionalContact Number&Type Additional Contact Number&Type Race Sex DOB- Height Weight Even Hair Collision 2025-00080730 Paqe 2 OF 5 Case Number 2025-00080730 Officer Narrative Narrative 25-80730 On 12/15/2025 at approximately 2004 hours, I responded to a phone report for a hit and run accident which occurred at the intersection of Rainier Ave S and Airport Way in the City of Renton, County of King, and the State of Washington. The following information was collected via phone call with language line as RP only speaks Spanish. Registered owner PEDROZO MENDOZA,YOEIKER JAVIER(DOB 04-01-2003)stated his vehicle, (LIC CLY4673) dark blue 2006 Volkswagen Jetta,was involved in a hit and run accident. He stated around 1950 hours he was involved in a hit and run at the intersection of Rainier Ave S and Airport Way.The suspect vehicle was a white 2009 Volvo XC90(LIC BWC0447)occupied by two skinny white males. Suspect 1)The driver of the Volvo was described as mid 20s white skinny mate with nose ring black hair and black mustache. Suspect 2)The passenger was described similarly but with curly hair and without anyfaciat hair. Pedrozo stated he was traveling in lane two of three traveling westbound from Airport Way, across the intersection with Rainier Ave S and westbound onto Renton Ave S. He stated the suspect vehicle,was in the southbound only turn lane,turning southbound on Rainier Ave S.At the last moment the vehicle decided to continue traveling westbound and collided into Pedrozo's vehicle. He stated the vehicle did not pull over and continued traveling westbound. Pedrozo followed the vehicle till the intersection of Renton Ave S and 68th Ave S.The vehicle pulled over and the two drivers got into an argument after which Pedrozo stated the other driver was really angry got back into his vehicle and drove off. Pedrozo proceeded to a KCSO substation to make his report which got redirected to RPD. Pedrozo's vehicle sustained damage to the rear driver side passenger door and back bumper,which was estimated to around $5,000. 1 reviewed the photographs Pedrozo uploaded to the evidence AXON link provided to him. Those photographs were not uploaded. 1 reviewed the uploaded photographs which consisted of onlythe rear driver side door. I observed significant denting and scratching, covering the entirety of his passenger door.Some of the damage observed did not look like new damage. Following all the above provided information I found the suspect vehicle,white 2009 Volvo XC90(LIC BWC0447) registered to a HARVEY, DESIRES MIA(DOB 09-08-1992).The registered owner, a white female, did not match the provided description of either suspects.The vehicle listed as recently sold to a new registered owner.The only information provided was SHAW, ERIC no middle and no DOB to an address at 6211 S 139TH ST,SEATTLE,WA 98178. 1 could not find any involvements with Shaw, Eric and when looking up the address it does not show up as a valid address. The Volvo was caught on local cameras traveling westbound as well, passing Hardie Ave SW and Renton Ave S. Checking the photographs caught on these cameras, I did not identify any significant damage to the passenger side of the Volvo which, according to Pedrozo, should have had damage to reflect$5,000 worth of damage caused to his vehicle. Pedrozo stated he was traveling westbound through Airport Way at 1950 hours,when the collision occurred in the intersection. I clarified various times in our conversation regarding the location of the incident, every time, Pedrozo confirmed collision occurred in the intersection. He stated the collision occurred in the intersection as the Volvo merged into his vehicle while attempting to travel westbound in a southbound only turning lane. Collecting all of the above information, I proceeded to check the live traffic cameras located in the area. I checked from 1920 hours to 2005 hours.At no point did I observe either of the vehicles crossing westbound through the intersection and did not observe anywhite sedan attempting to merge from the southbound turning only lane into the westbound traveling lane. Between 1920 and 2005 hours, I did not observe a collision in the intersection. Pedrozo collected the case number for his insurance.
