NARRATIVE
Unless otherwise noted, all events took place in the City of Renton, in the County of King, in the State
of Washington.
This incident was captured on my body worn video camera and in-car cameras. This report is a
summary of events that occurred and is not an exact sequencing of events.
On 12/13/2025, at approximately 2115 hours I was dispatched to a report of a collision at the
Grammercy Apartments located at 11912 SE 175th St. Dispatch advised in parking lot 2 vehicle
collision with injuries and requesting aid for arm burning.
At approximately 2120 hours I arrived on scene. I contacted the driver of Unit 2 asked if he was
injured. He stated he was not injured. There were three other passengers in Unit 2. One passenger
had complaints of a burning sensation in her arm and complaints of a headache. The other two
passengers stated they were uninjured. I asked the driver of Unit 2 for his license registration and
insurance. He provided his license and registration but did not have insurance.
The driver of Unit 2 provided the following information. He was driving southbound through the
apartment parking lot near the F building (120th Ln SE) approaching SE 175th St. Unit 1 was driving
eastbound on 175th St and turned northbound into the apartment parking lot at a high rate of speed.
Unit 1 then struck the driver side bumper and side panel of the Unit 2. Unit 1 then continued
northbound into the parking lot without making an attempt to stop. The driver of Unit 2 chased down
Unit 1 on foot and located the vehicle parked in a parking spot. The driver of Unit 1 exited the vehicle
and fled on foot northbound through the parking lot.
The driver of Unit 2 stated Unit 1 was a gray Toyota Camry. I located the vehicle and saw there was
damage to the front driver side bumper and the front driver side tire.
Jose R. Jiminez DOB 5/5/2007 was sitting in the back right seat of Unit 2. He advised he would be
able to ID the driver of Unit 1.
Xavi J. Mendez DOB 1/9/2012 was sitting in the front passenger seat of Unit 2. He advised he would
be able to ID the driver of Unit 1.
Shanty F. Mendez DOB 12/17/2008 was sitting in the back left seat of Unit 2. She had the complaints
of burning sensation in her arm and headache. She advised she would not be able to ID the driver of
Unit 1.
Renton Fire responded and evaluated all occupants.
Based on the information above, if a suspect can be identified there is probable cause for the crime of
Hit and Run attended.
I took photos of Unit 2 and Unit 1 and uploaded them into evidence.com.
