Narrative
ASSIGNMENT/ARRIVAL
On 12/17/2025 1 was driving a marked patrol unit, equipped with lights and sirens, in the City of Renton,
County of King. I was wearing a Renton Police uniform, badge, and vest. I was assigned as 3R22.At
approximately 0141 hours I was dispatched to a hit and run collision near the intersection of Maple Valley
Highway and 140th Way SE, city of Renton, King County, Washington.
Call remarks stated:
"NOW, HIT AND RUN .. NO IN1S.. BLKING SB LANES..SUSP VEH IS DIRK COLORED SUV GOA NB"
Statement of Xinwan Wang 01/06/1992:
1 contacted Wang,the driver of vehicle#2 (WALP D48095F), on the shoulder of 140th Way SE, south of the
intersection with Maple Valley Highway. Wang stated she was not injured and declined medical treatment.
Wang's vehicle had extensive damage on the driver's side rear wheel and was not safely drivable.The damage
appeared to exceed $1000. 1 contacted Dispatch and requested a tow truck.
Wang stated she was turning left from Maple Valley Highway onto 140th Way SE when the collision occurred.
Wang observed the traffic signal in her lane to be green. Wang saw a dark colored SUV, attempting to turn
right from 140th WAY SE onto Maple Valley Highway.The vehicle collided with her as they were both turning,
then continued east on Maple Valley Highway. Wang did not observe the other driver or the vehicle license
plate.
Disposition
Wang provided a WA driver's license,vehicle registration and proof of insurance.An NCIC/WACIC check was
conducted with Wang's information which returned clear. I provided Wang with my business card and case
number. Banker's towing arrived and the vehicle was impounded.
This concluded my involvement with the case.
