We are okay with a retaining wall adjacent to the sidewalk with an exposed height of no more than 2.5 feet, if possible. CAUTION: This email originated from outside the City of Renton. Do not click links, reply or open attachments unless you know the content is safe. To formally approve this request, a modification will need to be submitted to remove the required 3-foot separation between the right-of-way and the face of the retaining wall (RMC 4-4-040.2.d). Here is a link to the modification requirements. I’ve also copied Clark on this email—he can answer any questions about the modification process while Jill is away. I would like to put a landscape wall 1.5 3.5 feet tall along the sidewalk to the entrance of the tract road to service the vault. This would allow more landscaping that will be maintained and help sluffing of topsoil during rain events. The wall right next to the sidewalk will help with weed control also. Please let me know if it is approved and let me know you received these emails. Thanks Bob wenzl
