EG58490 CASE# 25-80361 OF COLLISION 12/03/25 17:25 OF CbLLI510N NARRATIVE 25-80361 Non-injury collision Axon: Axon body cam and car video available Narrative: On 12.03.2025 at 1728 hours, I was dispatched to blocking collision which occurred at 1725 hours in the 1900 block of Oakesdale AVE SW. This is within the city limits of Renton, County of King, WA. When I arrived at 1732 hours, I verified that there were no injuries associated with the collision. The collision occurred on Oakesdale AVE SW about 60 feet south of the collision in the curb lane (west). One of the vehicles a silver 2012 Chevrolet Cruze 4dr WA/AQU1970 was blocking the lane and the 2nd vehicle a black 2018 Audi Q5 Utility WA/BNR2115 had moved to a nearby parking lot. I advised both drivers that they were being audio and visually recorded. The driver of the Chevrolet Cruze provided his name as Bailey K Taylor DOB/04.05.2009. Taylor did not have his license with him, but I was able to confirm him identity via a DOL photo on my computer. Taylor's DOL status is valid. Taylor's dad (the registered owner Bryan Taylor) was able to move the vehicle out of the road after I arrived. Taylor is uninjured. Taylor told me that he was headed southbound on Oakesdale and there was a bus stopped at the bus stop south of SW 19 ST. Taylor started to merge to the center lane to his left, but there was traffic, so he had to go back into the curb lane and didn't see that the car that was in front of him had stopped. Taylor's vehicle struck the vehicle in front of him. Damage to Taylor's vehicle was from an impact slightly to the center of his front bumper and into the engine compartment. Taylor provided his registration and proof of insurance. I spoke to Allison S. Broadgate DOB/07.27.1977 and identified her by photo WADL. Broadgate has valid DOL status. Broadgate was uninjured. Broadgate was driving the black Audi. Broadgate was also southbound on Oakesdale AVE SW in the curb lane. Just south of SW 19 ST, a metro bus stopped for the bus stop. Broadgate also intended on merging to the center lane but was unable to do so due to traffic. Broadgate stayed in her lane but was rear-ended by Taylor's car. Damage to Broadgate's vehicle was on the rear bumper with the impact left of the center of the bumper. Broadgate provided proof of insurance and valid registration. Bryan Taylor (the registered owner of the Chevrolet Cruze) opted to have the vehicle towed to his residence. No citations issued in this case. This incident occurred in the City of Renton, King County, Washington unless otherwise specifically noted. During this incident I was equipped with body-worn camera which records both audio and video. Portions of the incident were recorded. This report is merely a summary of the incident and is not intended to be an exact transcription of the entire investigation or what may have been captured with the recording system. During this incident I was wearing a department issued uniform jump suit was marked with "Police" both on the back, and department patches on each shoulder of the jumpsuit, as well as a Renton Police Velcro badge on my left chest.
