On 12-17-2025 at approximately 2122 hours I was dispatched to a hit and run collision located at the
intersection of SW 7th St/Rainier Ave S in the City of Renton, County of King, State of Washington. Initial call
details indicated the suspect was GOA towards the Toyota dealership.The reporting party had pulled into the
Starbucks parking lot.
Upon my arrival I located unit#2, 2016 silver Kia Soul, parked in the Starbucks parking lot. I observed damage
to the rear bumper area of unit#2. 1 contacted the reporting party/victim, identified by his Passport and
WADOL photo as Bareq Q. Nasir(DOB 01-15-1999). He advised he was stopped at the above intersection in
the south bound lanes of Rainier Ave S in lane#2.The light had turned green and the vehicle in front of him
had not proceeded forward yet. Nasir was struck from behind by unit#1. Nasir proceeded to turn west bound
onto SW 7th St and into the Starbucks parking lot. Unit#1 followed Nasir but continued going west bound on
SW 7th St.
Nasir advised unit#1 did not attempt to stop and exchange information. He could only describe unit#1 as a
dark sedan, possibly being a Nissan or Infinite based on its lights. Nasir was not able to provide any driver
description for unit#1.
Nasir advised his back was sore but declined aid.
Nasir advised he would be willing to assist with prosecution.
Photos were taken of the damage to Nasir's vehicle and uploaded to Evidence.com
No suspect information at this time. However,traffic cameras should be checked for possible suspect
information.
During this incident, I was equipped with a body-worn camera,which records both audio and video.This
report is merely a summary of the incident and is not intended to be an exact transcription of the entire
investigation or what may have been captured with the recording system.
