Unless otherwise stated, the following occurred in the City of Renton, County of King, State of
Washington.
On 12-18-2025 at approximately 1702 hours I was dispatched to a non-injury hit and run collision that
occurred in the 4600 block of NE Sunset BLVD.
Upon arrival, I contacted the driver of Unit#2 (Patricia) and confirmed she was not injured. I
collected her driving documents and independent recollection of events leading up to the
collision.
Patricia said she was traveling eastbound in the 4600 block of NE Sunset BLVD and was making a
right hand turn to enter the parking lot of Ross located at 4601 NE Sunset BLVD. When she entered
the parking lot, Unit#1 was parked in the entrance to the parking lot and she collided with the front of
it.
Patricia confronted the driver of Unit#1 who seemed confused. She asked him if he spoke English,
and he shook his head no and slowly drove away eastbound in the parking lot exiting onto Duvall
AVE NE. Patricia then called 911. Patricia described the driver as a Hispanic male, approximately 30
years old, wearing a hat and possibly had facial hair. Patricia does not know why he was parked in the
driveway to the business and not a parking stall. Unit#2 sustained minor damage to the front of the
vehicle. Patricia said she does not want to press charges. I provided Patricia the case number.
Patricia had taken a picture of Unit#1 which showed Washington license plate CTV3798 affixed to a
red Dodge Journey. I ran the license plate through WACIC/NCIC and it retuned to Pedro Gomez
Castaneda DOB: 07-29-2001 at 633 Queen AVE NE, Renton. I ran Pedro through WACIC/NCIC and
he returned with a valid driver's license. I responded to that address and located the Dodge Journey
parked outside the residence. The vehicle had minor front end damage. At the residence, I contacted
Pedro (verified WADL) who confirmed he was the one driving the vehicle at the time of the collision.
Pedro said he left the scene because he was in a hurry. Pedro said he does not have insurance. I
educated Pedro on Washington State requirements regarding vehicle insurance and leaving the scene
of a collision without exchanging information. I advised Pedro I was not citing him today because

Patricia did not want to press charges.
I took photos of both involved vehicles and uploaded them to Axon. I called Patricia back and advised
her I was able to contact the driver of the Dodge, and she confirmed again she does not want to press
charges and will be following up with insurance.
