Narrative
On 12/18/2025 at approximately 0728 hours, I was dispatched to a blocking collision in the area
of Airport Way at Shattuck Ave S,within the city limits of Renton, King County,WA. Dispatch
advised the reporting party was stating her vehicle was struck by another vehicle, and stated the
other vehicle possibly fled. The reporting party described her vehicle as a silver colored Toyota
4-Runner, and advised she was still blocking the eastbound lane.
Upon arrival, I located the reporting party sitting inside her 4-Runner, which was blocking the
outside eastbound lane of Airport Way,just east of Shattuck Ave S. I also observed broken
taillights and other collision related debris on the roadway behind the 4-Runner, indicating a
collision occurred here.
The reporting party told me she was not injured. She provided me with her vehicle registration,
her vehicle insurance, and her WA state driver's license. The reporting party was identified as
JENNIFER E. DOLL(DOB 01/11/1979). DOLL told me she was driving eastbound on Airport Way,
proceeding through the intersection at Shattuck Ave S. She told me that a vehicle traveling
westbound turned left directly in front of her onto Shattuck Ave S. She did not have time to stop,
and the front right corner of her vehicle collided with and unknown portion of the suspect
vehicle. DOLL stated she was unsure of the make/model/color of the suspect vehicle, and told
me she was unable to provide any further details about the suspect. I provided DOLL with my
business card and the case number and then ended my contact with her. DOLL's vehicle was
not safe to drive due to the damage and was subsequently towed by Banker's Towing.
Dispatch later advised me a witness called 911 to advise that they had followed the suspect
vehicle after the collision. I contacted this witness by phone.This witness verbally identified
himself to me as CHARLES HEFFERNAN (DOB 05/03/1952). HEFFERNAN advised me he
witnessed the collision occur. He stated the silver 4-Runner had a green light to proceed east
through the intersection and the suspect vehicle,which was westbound, turned left directly in
front of the 4-Runner, not leaving the 4-Runner sufficient time to stop in order to avoid a
collision. HEFFERNAN told me the suspect vehicle then fled southbound on Shattuck Ave S,
where he followed it to the 7-Eleven located at 12848 Martin Luther King Jr Way S, Seattle.After
the suspect vehicle parked at 7-Eleven, HEFFERNAN continued driving and lost sight of it.
This incident occurred in the sCity of Renton,King County,Washington State.

HEFFERNAN told me he was unable to see the driver of the suspect vehicle. HEFFERNAN further
told me the suspect vehicle's rear bumper was heavily damaged from the collision and was
hanging off the vehicle dragging on the blacktop as it drove. HEFFERNAN was unable to see the
suspect vehicle's license plate, but he did take a photo of the suspect vehicle,which he
provided to me.This photo was later uploaded to Evidence.com.The suspect vehicle was a
beige colored Chrysler PT Cruiser.
I responded to 7-Eleven at 12848 Martin Luther King Jr Way S, Seattle to check they had video
surveillance of the suspect vehicle. The employee I spoke to showed me the video surveillance.
The video showed a beige colored Chrysler PT Cruiser entering the west side of the parking lot
this morning(12/18/2025) at approximately 0727 hours.This vehicle had the rear bumper
hanging off dragging on the blacktop and matched the suspect vehicle photo HEFFERNAN
showed me.This vehicle's front license plate was slightly blurry, but appeared to be similar to
CRN8891. However the DOL return on CRN8891 returned to a black colored 2015 Honda CRV,
not a beige Chrysler PT Cruiser. I was unable to see the vehicle's rear license plate.The vehicle
drove east through the parking lot, did not stop, and exited the lot through the east entrance,
and then drove out of the camera's view. I was unable to see the driver in the video. I uploaded a
copy of this video to Evidence.com
I completed a Sector collision report for this hit and run collision.
The suspect's identity is unknown at this time.
