EG62843 CASE# 25-80946 DATE OF COLLI r�510NN + 12/22/25 18:08 L1 NARRATIVE 25-80946 Unless otherwise noted, the following occurred within the city limits of Renton, county of King, state of Washington. On 12/22/2025, 1 was working as a uniformed police officer for the city of Renton. At approximately 1808 hours, I was dispatched to a hit and run collision involving a pedestrian at Marshall's, 825 N Landing Way. Portions of my involvement in the incident were captured on my department-issued bodycam. Any statements referred to have been paraphrased and summarized. While enroute, dispatch relayed that a witness was reporting the collision, noting that the only involved motor vehicle had fled the scene. The victim reported having knee pain because of the incident. When I arrived on scene, Officer Rivera was speaking to the victim. Through my fellow officer, and a brief recorded statement taken with the victim, I learned the following: The victim was leaving the store and began to cross N Landing Way on foot to the north. Before he could even attempt to avoid it, he was struck by unit 1, which was traveling from the west to the east. He was struck in his left knee (which I observed was bleeding) and rated the pain from the incident at a 7 out of 10. The suspect stopped the vehicle immediately after the incident and briefly stepped out, repeatedly apologizing for what occurred, before fleeing in the vehicle in an unknown direction on Park Ave N. They could be described as a Hispanic female in her 30's. He believed that he would be able to recognize her if he saw her again. He wishes to press charges against her if she could be positively identified. His email address is ali@westcoastpita.com. Sergeant Christiansen spoke to several witnesses who all reported a similar story to what the victim provided. Their contact information was collected for future follow-up as needed. Marshall's staff advised that the business did not have any exterior cameras that would have captured the incident. Officer Rivera captured photos of the victim's injuries and uploaded them to the case jacket. I completed the Renton Police Department's Consent for Release of Medical Information form with the victim. I later reviewed FLOCK cameras to locate any hits with the suspect vehicle in the City of Renton. FLOCK is an automated vehicle license plate reader application that utilizes stationary cameras to track license plates. On 12/22/2025 at 1810 hours, the suspect vehicle plate was tagged by the camera situated at N 3rd St and Sunset Blvd N (monitoring southbound traffic). This is relevant not only due to the short amount of time elapsed from the collision, but also because it is in very near proximity to the location where the event occurred.
