Narrative
On 12/26/2025 at about 1708 hours a non-injury hit and run collision just occurred in the business parking lot
located at 4710 NE 4th St within the city limits of Renton, King County, Washington. 1 arrived and spoke to
Daniel S. Vayalil (Driver 2), who was the driver of Unit 2 (white colored 2018 Nissan Leaf with Washington
state license plate CTB7397).
Daniel explained he was traveling southbound through the parking lot when he came to a stop at a visible
yellow colored stop line. He stopped for vehicles in the parking lot that were traveling westbound toward
Duvall Ave NE. Daniel slowly drove forward to get a better look for any traffic entering the parking lot from
Duvall Ave NE. Once it appeared clear, Daniel proceeded forward (south), but a tan colored Chevrolet pickup
truck(Unit 1) entered the parking lot from Duvall Ave NE headed east through the parking lot. Both vehicles
collided, and then they both parked and the drivers contacted each other. Unit 1 had damage to the front
driver side door because of the collision, and Unit 2 had damage to the front passenger side area of the
vehicle. Both vehicles appeared drivable.
The driver of Unit 1 (Driver 1-suspected to be Michael Louis W. Mann, DOB: 09/03/1995) showed Daniel his
Washington state driver's license, and Daniel used his cellphone to take a photo of it. Driver 1 wanted to
handle the collision without getting the insurance companies involved, but Daniel did not agree with that.
Daniel proceeded to call his father and the police to report the collision. Driver 1 appeared alarmed and asked
Daniel who he just called. Daniel informed Driver 1 that he called the police, and Driver 1 got into Unit 1 and
drove off northbound on Duvall Ave NE. Daniel did not see any other passengers inside Unit 1 besides Driver
1.
Daniel had a cellphone photo of the driver's license provided by Driver 1, and he stated that it appeared to be
the same person he saw driving Unit 1. That photo was uploaded to Axon. Daniel described Unit 1 as follows:
tan colored Chevrolet pickup truck, extended cab, ladders attached to the top of the truck, and a Washington
state license plate starting with "C".
Driver 1 appeared to be at fault of a hit and run collision when he fled the scene without making any effort to
provide further contact information and vehicle insurance information to Daniel (Driver 2) as was Driver 1's
duty to do so.
The address pictured on the driver's license provided by Driver 1 was as follows: 1200 Harrington Ave NE,
Renton, Washington. I drove to that address, but Unit 1 was not seen parked in the area. I knocked on the
front door to the address, but no one answered. I ran Michael Louis W. Mann's name through our database,

and his Washington state DOS address came back to 12210 76th Ave S, Seattle, Washington.
I took photos of Unit 2 and uploaded those photos to Axon. No cameras were seen posted near the site of the
collision. I was unable to contact Driver 1.
This incident occurred in the sCity of Renton,King County,Washington State.
