EG61179 CASE# 25-80902 DATE OF COLLI r�510NN + 12/20/25 19:13 L1 NARRATIVE #25-80902 Unless otherwise noted, all events took place in the City of Renton, in the County of King, in the State of Washington. This incident was captured on my body worn video camera and in-car cameras. This report is a summary of events that occurred and is not an exact sequencing of events. On 12/20/2025 at approximately 1913 hours I was dispatched to a non injury, non blocking accident with in the 100 block of S 7th St in the city of Renton, King County, WA. Unit#1 was a blue 2019 Mercedes C-Class with WA LIC CEE1731 (VIN: 55SWF8DB6KU309915). The driver of unit 1 was the sole occupant and was wearing their seatbelt at the time of the accident. They did not require medical attention. Unit#2 was a red 2020 Toyota C-HR LIC: CBX3663 (VIN: JTNKHMBX6L1072222). The driver of Unit #2 had a front seat passenger and both were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident. They did not require medical attention. Roadway conditions were wet, dark, and raining at the time the collision occurred. Both vehicles were able to move off the roadway under their own power. Neither required a tow truck away from the scene. Driver#1 of Unit#1 stated she was leaving the Walmart parking lot, exiting on to SW 7th St at Jimmy Macs. She was preparing to turn east on to SW 7th St and proceed into the left hand center turn lane. There was flat bed tow truck in front of her. She stated that as she proceeded out in to the turn lane after the flat bed truck started to move, she was hit by Unit#2. Driver#2 of Unit#2 stated he was in the center turn lane of SW 7th St. As the light turned green, he started to move forward. At that point, Unit#1 came from his right hand side and collided with his front passenger corner of this vehicle. Unit#2 was able to provide dash cam video of the incident which showed Unit#1 proceeding out into the center turn lane before it was safe and clear to do so. Pictures of the collision were uploaded to Axon from my department issued cell phone. Unit#2 submitted his dash cam video via Axon. Both drivers had valid insurance and an exchange of information was provided to each of them. At the conclusion of my investigation, I determined that Unit#1 was the proximate cause of the collision as she did not ensure it was clear for her to proceed into the center turn lane. If Unit#1 would have ensured that all 3 travel lanes were clear before proceeding with her turn then this collision would not have occurred. This concludes my report.
