Although this project is located outside Soos Creek Water and Sewer District service boundaries, the City of Renton and Soos Creek have determined that water service may be provided by Soos Creek. Sewer service to be provided by the City of Renton. A Special Service Agreement for Service Outside District Boundary will need to be completed for each lot. We understand that the 4 proposed homes will be over 3,600 sq ft and will require adequate fire suppression. Unfortunately, our hydraulic model does not support the requested 1,500 gpm as the system currently exists at this location. Options for increased fire flow may include a watermain extension, fire hydrant installations, sprinkler systems for each home and a hydraulic study. I have attached CRD F1-003 of your proposed connection point. Since this is an older line, further determination will need to be made as to pipe material. When you are prepared to move forward, please complete the DE application form found on our website and submit with a physical full size plan set as well as an electronic plan set emailed to me.
