We believe that the submittal package included with this letter will address your concerns for this project. Listed below are the questions requesting additional information with a narrative response below each question. Review by Heather Bray (HBray@rentonwa.gov or 425-430-7383) RYDER LC0549 – WATERLINE RELOCATION Sheet G-1, Title Sheet 1. This project is located outside of the City of Renton. Any building permits shall be applied for at the City of Tukwila. Response: Acknowledged. Sheet SP-2, Demolition Plan 1. Verify if this is concrete the survey shows asphalt. Response: The comment has been acknowledged. Please see the adjust demolition plan sheet SP-2 for more information. Sheet SP-2.1, Demolition Plan 1. Revise note: "Remove existing 12" 45-degree bend after completion, testing, and disinfection of new watermain" Response: The comment has been acknowledged. Please see the adjusted note on sheet Sp- 2.1 for more information. Sheet SP-3, Utility Site Plan 1. Add note "PER COR STD 300.4" Response: Acknowledged. Please see adjusted grading plan sheet SP-4 for more information. Sheet CS-1, Civil Site Details 1. Not reviewed or approved by City of Renton. This sheet is for reference only Response: Acknowledged. 2. Verify if this is concrete the survey shows asphalt. Response: Acknowledged. The concrete cut detail has been removed from plan. Please see adjusted detail sheet CS-1 for more information. Sheet DT-2, Details 1. Erosion and sediment control shall be per city of federal way jurisdiction Response: Acknowledged. Please see the updated erosion and sediment control notes per city of federal way jurisdiction on sheet DT-2 for more information. 2. Add note: "recycled concrete materials are not allowed as trench bedding and trench backfill materials for watermains." Response: Acknowledged. Revise - there shall be a minimum of 18-inchs of vertical clearance between water and sewer consider shifting watermain up to 4-feet of cover use ethafoam or equivalent if separation is still less than 18-inches.
