Officer Narrative
Narrative
Unless otherwise noted, all events took place in the City of Renton, in the County of King, in the State of
Washington.
This incident was captured on my body worn video camera and in-car cameras.This report is a summary of
events that occurred and is not an exact sequencing of events.
On 1/5/2025, at approximately 1842 hours I was dispatched to a report of a hit and run at the intersection of
SE Carr Rd and 108th Ave SE. Dispatch advised 5 minutes ago a hit and run occurred, black SUV left towards
Fred Meyer.
At approximately 1846 hours I called the reporting party identified as Kyi Z.The 12/6/2002. Kyi advised the
following. She was driving in lane 2 of 3 eastbound on SE Carr Rd approaching 108th Ave SE. She noticed Unit 1
pulling out of the CVS parking lot turning into the eastbound lanes of SE Carr Rd. Unit 1 bypassed Lane 3 of 3
and tried to get into lane 2 of 3. Unit 1 then struck the rear and front driver side of the Unit 2 with the front
passenger side of Unit 1. Kyi stated Unit 1 then drove southbound on 108th Ave SE.
Kyi described the driver of Unit 1 as a white mate, mid 30's, beard, black or dark clothing. Kyi stated she
would be able to ID the driver of Unit 1 if she saw him.
Kyi had a camera in the car that recorded the whole incident. I sent her an axon link to upload the footage.
From the video Kyi was able to get the license plate of Unit 1. Upon searching the DOL photo of the registered
owner of Unit 1, it seems to be possible match for the description provided above.
Based on the information above there is probable cause for Hit and Run attended if the driver can be
identified.
