Officer Narrative
Narrative
This incident was captured on my body worn video camera and/or in-car dash camera. This report is a
summary of events that occurred and is not an exact sequencing of events.
On 01/06/2026 at approximately 1937 hours I was dispatched to the report of a hit and run collision that
occurred in the parking lot of 17168 116TH AVE SE Renton, King, WA.The reporting party, later identified as
Elmyrza Kozhonazarov(DOB: 07/29/2004), reported that his vehicle was hit by a white 2007 GMC Sierra,
WA/D94374G, in the parking lot and it fled the scene.
At approximately 2003 hours I arrived and contacted Elmyrza who told me the following:
He was driving his gray 2010 Toyota Camry, WA/CSD5500, northbound through the parking lot when a
Hispanic male driving the Sierra backed out of a parking spot in front of his vehicle.The Sierra hit the front left
bumper with its back left taillight, causing minor damage.
Elmyrza attempted to contact the driver to exchange information, and the male only spoke Spanish and
appeared nervous.The driver fled the scene without exchanging information after Elmyrza filmed the suspect
vehicle and license plate.
I reviewed the video, and it did not capture a visual of the driver. Elmyrza later uploaded the video to Axon
evidence.com. I took photographs of the damage to the Camry and uploaded them as well. I observed
cameras in the parking lot and contacted the bartender working inside of"Group Therapy" bar. He advised
that the property manager had access to the cameras, but he did not have the property managers name or
contact information.
Elmyrza did not have insurance but provided me with his registration and was the registered owner of the
Camry. I provided Elmyrza with the case number.At the time of this report the suspect was not identified or
located.
Based on Elmyrza's statements and the damage to the vehicle,there is probable cause to arrest the driver of
the Sierra for RCW 46.52.020 Hit and Run—Attended.
