Narrative
Unit 1 was traveling southbound on Logan AVE S approaching a right-hand curve onto westbound Airport Way.
Unit 1 was traveling too fast for conditions, and as it entered the right-hand curve, broke traction and began
to slide up and onto a traffic median. Unit 1 struck a City of Renton traffic sign pole (Unit 2), and continued to
spin clockwise coming to rest in the eastbound lanes of Airport Way. Unit 1 then fled the scene without
making any attempt to call 911 or leave information.
Unit 2 (traffic sign pole)was destroyed and left on scene.
I was able to view City of Renton traffic camera footage which captured the incident which is how this
description was obtained. This video is included in Axon digital storage.
Unit 1 appears to be a mid 2000's dark beige or grey Toyota Camry with front end passenger fender damage.
No description of Driver 1.
