Narrative
*This incident was captured on my body worn video camera. This report is a summary of events that
occurred and is not an exact sequencing of events.Statements have been paraphrased and summarized.
The following occurred within the City of Renton, King County WA and was recorded on my body
worn camera.
Unit 1 was attempting to exit the QFC parking lot located at 450 Duvall Ave NE. Unit 1 was
attempting to take a left turn (Southbound) out of the parking lot onto Duvall Ave NE. As Unit 1
entered the Northbound Lane of traffic, Driver 1 collided with Unit 2.
Unit 2 was traveling Northbound on Duvall Ave NE in lane 2 of 2. Unit 2 attempted to avoid the
impact by swerving away from Unit 1.
Unit 1's passenger side headlight/quarter panel impacted Unit 2's passenger side front door, causing
a large dent/scrape reaching all the way to the rear passenger door. Both vehicles were drivable and
there were no injuries. Driver 1 stated that she did not see Unit 2 until it was too late.
I assisted both parties in exchanging insurance information. I provided them with my card and case
number and advised them to contact their insurance companies.
Driver 1 was not cited. This case is for documentation only. Photos were uploaded to evidence.com
