Hello Jennifer, Jill, Concerning the City of Renton’s Public Hearing for Windsor Court Plat, LUA25-000148, we would like to make the following comments on record on behalf ofthe City of Kent:
City of Kent informed the applicant during their PRE-APP with Kent
(RPPA-2250478), these permits would be required:
Civil Construction Permit
Deviation Request for the road connection to 108th Ave SE
Stormwater Adjustment (also via Deviation Request process)
allowing a combined stormwater discharge to Kent adding the
existing Renton discharge area.
City of Kent has reviewed and approved the Stormwater Adjustmentand is currently awaiting resubmittal of the Deviation Request for the
road connection to 108th Ave SE. City has not yet received theapplication for the Civil Construction Permit. City of Kent recommends all three Kent permit submittals to beapproved prior to Renton’s construction permit issuance.
City of Kent will require stormwater system development fee, at a rate
of $1.30 per sq. ft. of new impervious area, due at the time of civil
permit issuance. This fee is based on the current 2025 rate.
This project is subject to City of Kent Transportation Impact Fee (TIF)
and most closely conforms to the TIF rate for Residential – Single
Family, which is $6,109.26 per dwelling unit. These fees are based on
the current 2025 rates. Exact amount will be assessed at the time of
Civil Permit submittal and due at the time of the Permit issuance.
