Officer Narrative
Narrative
On 01-13-2026 at 0543 hours I was dispatched to the intersection of NE 6th PL/Queen Ave NE, in the City of
Renton, County of King, State of Washington,for a collision.
Upon arrival, I contacted Unit 1 by her vehicle. She stated she was driving north on Queen Ave NE and stopped
at the stop sign before turning left on NE 6th PL. When making the left hand turn she did not see Unit 2 going
westbound on NE 6th PL. While turning,the front of her vehicle hit the back drivers side of Unit 2. She did not
claim any injuries at the time.There was damage to the front bumper of Unit 1.
When I asked Unit 1 for her insurance she stated she did not have insurance and was unable to provide me
with any insurance. She was given a citation for driving without insurance.
I contacted Unit 2 by her vehicle. She stated she was driving westbound on NE 6th PL, did not have a stop sign,
and Unit 1 pulled out from the stop sign ultimately hitting her vehicle.There was damage to the back driver
side of Unit 2. She did not claim any injuries besides being shook up.
Both vehicles were able to drive away from the collision. I provided each driver with my business card which
contained the case number for their records.
