Narrative
RTF 26-406
On 1/14/2026 at 0710 hours I was dispatched to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of
Maple Valley Highway and Cedar River Park Dr in the City of Renton, King County,Washington.
Pre-Collision
Driver 2 stated that she was facing West on Maple Valley Highway at Cedar River Park Dr. Driver
2 stated that she pulled forward through the intersection and was unable to fully clear the
intersection due to traffic. Driver 2 stated that the rear of her vehicle, around the back of her
doors,were protruding into the intersection.
Driver 1 fled the scene and did not provide comment. Driver 1 was said to have been performing
a lefthand turn from Cedar River Park Dr onto Maple Valley Highway to proceed West.
Collision
Driver 2 stated that while stopped, Unit 1 began its lefthand turn and failed to properly negotiate
the turn. Driver 2 stated that the front right bumper of Unit 1 collided with the rear driver side
bumper and quarter panel of Unit 2.
Driver 1 fled the scene Westbound. Driver 2 is unable to ID Driver 1.
Injuries
None reported.
Vehicle Disposition
Both vehicles were operational.
Final Disposition
Driver 1 fled the scene of this collision and failed to perform the necessary requirements listed
within RCW 46.52.020. Unit 2 is a black, Ford Mustang with heavily tinted windows and no
License plate.
This incident occurred in the sCity of Renton,King County,Washington State.
