Officer Narrative
Narrative
On 01/19/2026 at about 1425 hours, I was dispatched to a non-injury hit and run motor vehicle collision that
occurred sometime between last night and this afternoon. The hit and run may have occurred in the parking
lot of the Molasses Creek Condos located at 15150 140th Way SE within the city limits of Renton, King County,
Washington. I contacted Jack H. David (owner of the damaged vehicle-marron colored 2011 GMC Terrain with
Washington state license plate CTX1879) at the apartment complex. Jack's vehicle had minor damage and was
drivable.
On 01/18/2026 at about 1630 hours,Jack parked his vehicle in parking space#172 near apartment building F.
On 01/19/2026 at about 1300 hours,Jack returned to his vehicle and noticed a long white colored scratch and
slight dent in the front driver side door. A black colored BMW sedan with Washington state license plate
BKG7351 was parked next to Jack's vehicle in parking space#173. He noticed the driver side corner of the
BMW's rear bumper was damaged and suspected it may have struck his vehicle as it backed into the parking
spot. According to Jack, he has not seen any other car besides the BMW park in space#173. 1 spoke to the
owner of the BMW (Kirill Kochkovsky) at his apartment, and he denied colliding into Jack's vehicle. Kirill
agreed to pull his vehicle forward so that I could compare the damage to the BMW with the damage to Jack's
vehicle. I took measurements of each vehicles' damage from the ground and noticed the measurements were
off by about six inches. I also noticed there was no paint transfer that matched either vehicle. Based on the
damage, it did not appear Kirill's vehicle struck Jack's vehicle.
It is unknown where Jack may have been when the damage to his vehicle occurred. There were no cameras
seen posted around the parking lot where Jack parked his vehicle. I took photos of Jack's vehicle and
uploaded those photos to Axon. I gave Jack a Renton PD business card with the case number. There is no
suspect information.
