Narrative
On 01/23/2025 at about 0110 hours, I contacted George Castro-Barrera (01/26/2009) at 225
Logan Ave S in the City of Renton, County of King as he matched the physical description of a
rape suspect. He was the sole occupant and sitting in the driver's seat of a white van (WA
D25749F); a white van was also the suspect vehicle description.
Castro-Barrera attempted to flee from the contact. Officer Ediger intentionally collided with
Castro-Barrera's vehicle to prevent him from evading detention.The collision caused damage to
the front end of both vehicles. Photographs of damage were taken and uploaded to the case file.
Neither Castro-Barrera nor Officer Ediger reported any injuries.
The collision for this incident is documented under case 26-640 and the assist to WSP is
documented under case number 26-638.
