Case 26-632
1 was working as a fully uniformed City of Renton Police Officer in a fully marked City of Renton, Police
Car as unit#3R13.All events took place in the City of Renton, County of King, State of Washington unless
otherwise noted.
This report is a summary of events that occurred and is not an exact sequencing of events.Statements
have been paraphrased and summarized.At the time of this call my body worn camera was activated.
On 1/22/2026, at 2047 hours, I was dispatched to 17809 108th Ave SE at Taco Bell,for a report of a hit
and run collision that just occurred.When I arrived, I saw a white 2021, Nissan Rouge(WA plate
CFE9945), parked in the parking lot with minor paint transfer and scratches to the right front fender. I
spoke with the reporting party and victim Baljit Kaur(DOB 10/15/1980).
Baljit stated she was turning right onto 108th Ave SE from the Fred Meyer Parking lot. Baljit swung wide
and went into lane 1. Baljit then attempted to merge into the lane 2,when an unknown white compact
sedan sideswiped her vehicle, causing scratches and paint transfer on the right front fender. Baljit
stated she did not see who was driving and could not tell me what make or model of the car that hit her
was. Baljit stated the vehicle continued, southbound on 108th Ave SE.
1 took photos of the damage to Baljit's vehicle and later uploaded them to evidence.com. I provided Baljit
with a business card with a case number on it. Baljit was not injured in the collision. Nothing further at
this time.
