NARRATIVE
I'm a current volunteer at Valley Medical Center and my shifts are every week Friday from 8 am to 12 pm. I came to the
hospital around 8 am and parked in front of the East Pavilion, where several cars were already parked. When my shift was
ending, I started to walk back to my car at 11:58 am, and got to my car to see my car scratched and the hood emblem
missing. Furthermore, the side of the grill had a rubbed scratch mark on it. I looked around my car to try to see if I could find
it, but wasn't able to do so. Additionally, I observed the car to be deeply scratched as well as the affected area being wiped. I
went inside the hospital and talked to security, from whom I received their supervisors email to contact for camera footage of
the incident, which I wasn't able to receive yet. I was able to do only that and was able to write this report in hopes of figuring
out what happened between that 4 hour time period and whether this was a hit and run or vandalism. Lastly, I am currently a
student, and any assistance in reviewing available camera footage would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
