Implement TCP for safe access; requires an additional lane on Eastbound SR 169 for steel sheet and rock hauling. 2. Clear and level site; excavate 6” to align with sidewalk for steel sheet placement. Stockpile excavated topsoil for later use. 3. Install silt fence and plastic sheeting over stockpiles. 4. Install steel sheets for protection and weight distribution; overlap sheets if necessary for stability. 5. Haul and stockpile 3–5 man-sized rock. 6. Place rock from east to west, maintaining safe distance from slide edge. Once stabilized, place remaining rock and encapsulate with Class 5 Riprap. 7. Compact rock using excavator bucket. 8. Spread stockpiled topsoil and hydroseed. 9. Inspect sidewalk for damage and repair as needed. Hazardous Material Control · Place only clean rock in river channel. · Ensure spill kit is onsite and fully stocked. Special Events & Notifications · Notify King County and City of Renton if riverbank erosion approaches roadway. · Suspend work if river levels become unmanageable. Important Notes · Site conditions can change rapidly; inspect frequently for shifting embankments. · Keep personnel away from slide edge until stabilized.
