Within the City Limits of Renton, King County,Washington,while working uniformed patrol for the City of
Renton in a marked police vehicle the following occurred.
On 01/30/26 at approximately 1.819 hours I was dispatched to a hit and run collision by phone which occurred at
the intersection of N 8th St and Houser Way Bypass. I contacted the driver of Unit 2 identified by a photo she
sent compared to her WADOL photo as Nicolas, Catrina H(09/05/75)who told me the following.
Nicolas was driving, alone in her vehicle,northbound on Houser Way bypass in the curbside lane and as she
approached the intersection, she began to make the left-hand turn to proceed westbound on N 8th ST. Houser
Way Bypass is a two-lane road with two left turn lanes at the intersection. As Nicolas was turning left the
vehicle in the lane next to her took the turn too wide and swiped the driver's side of her vehicle causing damage
to driver's door and near the wheel well.Nicolas honked at the vehicle to notify them of the collision and
according to her the vehicle honked back and never stopped. Nicolas was able to get a picture of Unit 1's plate
which was WA CTUI515 and she described it as a White Mazda,however she would be unable to identify the
driver of the vehicle.
CTU1515 returns to 2020 Mazda CX-30 wagon registered to 18314 SE 195th PI Renton WA 98058. The
registered owners of the vehicle are Neste, Stacey A. and Neste, Lars E.I asked KCSO to check the RO address
to see if they can find Unit I and gather the information for the driver.Nicolas was unsure about pressing
charges at this time for the hit and run and wanted everything to be made whole.
Nicolas sent me the photos of her vehicles damage as well as the photo of Unit 1,they were all uploaded to the
case.
Based on the above statements there is no probable cause at this time.
