EG74229 CASE# 26-447 OF COLL1510No TIME 01/15/26 14:40 COLL NARRATIVE slv/2 jeep nb slv cadi left turn RTF Within the city limits of Renton/King/Wa I was flagged down reference a recent hit and run collision that occurred at the intersection of Renton Ave S and Taylor Ave NW/Hardie Ave SW. Unit 2 contacted me and told me she was northbound on Hardie Ave SW crossing Renton Ave S on her green light when unit 1 turned left in front of her without time to avoid contact. She said she had to follow unit 1 over to Hayes PI SW in order to contact the driver of unit 1. She did not complain of injury and damages did not require a tow truck. Unit 2 told me that the driver of unit 1 a black male told her his name was Christine L Taylor a white female, also the R/O. He did not provide her with proof of insurance a valid phone number of any other form of ID. He denied her the required information ref the RCW 46.52. Unit 2 tried to get the proper information but unit 1 lied and deceived her and did not provide accurate information. Multiple attempts to contact the driver with the phone number provided only went to voicemail. I had Tacoma PD drive by the vehicles listed address to attempt contact and/or locate the vehicle/RO/Driver. Tacoma PD told me that address does not exist. That it is a vacant lot located near some duplexes and the lot is surrounded by chain link fence. They checked the surrounding area for the car with negative results. 1/23/2026.....The R/O of unit 1 Christine L Taylor did call me back from her Vermont number. We talked about what happened and who might have been driving her car. She asked if she could call me back after 1600 hours on after telling me she needed to think about what information she was comfortable providing me. She alluded that the male driver might have given her a different version of the collision event and also made threats to her about talking with the police. She did call me back and provided me the following. The individual driving her Cadillac is named Mike. She told me she doesnt know Mike's last name but did let him drive her car and followed up with "That was a bad decision". She told me she does not have a phone number for Mike because he uses other peoples phones to contact her. She told me she doesnt live at the DOL listed Renton or Tacoma address and did not provide me an address for where she stays now. She is currently employed and gets off work at 1600 hours but did not provide where she works. Taylor did not request any additional information about the crash even though she knew her car was being listed in a criminal collision. She told me she wasnt worried about it because unit 2 was probably the suspect driver based on what Mike said. I called unit 2 to follow up with Taylor's lack of cooperation. Unit 2 told me she initially had contact with Taylor via text message and that Taylor said Mike alleged unit 2 being the involved driver who failed to provide information and caused the crash. This is not true based on simple dynamics of the crash, traffic light timing and unit 2 made 2 separate 911 calls to report the crash as well as contacted me in person by chance as I was close by tending to another crash. information/insurance I certify (declare) under penalty of perjury under the laws of the State of Washington that the foregoing is true and correct.
