EG74874 CASE# 26-934 O OF COLLISION TIME 02/01/26 22:05 NARRATIVE 26-934 Hit and Run, Attended, no suspect info RTF Axon: Axon body cam video available Narrative: On 02.01.2026 at 2213 hours, I arrived at a non-injury, non-blocking hit and run collision which occurred at 2205 hours (dispatch time 2208 hours) on Harrington AVE NE at Index AVE NE. This is within the city limits of Renton, County of King, WA. Harrington AVE NE travels from the SE to NW at this point in the road. Index AVE NE travels from NW to SE. When I arrived, I spoke with Exavier M Shead DOB/08.03.1996. Shead was identified by photo WADL. Shead has valid WADL status. Shead was driving a dark gray Kia Sportage SUV OR/760QSF, registered to Hertz Rental Cars LLC. This car was rented with full coverage from Hertz. Shead is uninjured and has already made a report with his company, who rented the car. Shead told me he was headed up Harrington AVE NE. As he approached Index AVE NE a white SUV failed to stop at the stop sign and hit Shead's vehicle in the rear passenger side door. The vehicles separated. The other vehicle briefly stopped and fled SE on Harrington AVE NE. Shead did not see the make or model of the other vehicle and did not see the other driver. Damage to the white SUV would be on the front bumper. An area check for the other vehicle was done without success. Case for informational purposes only. This incident occurred in the City of Renton, King County, Washington unless otherwise specifically noted. During this incident I was equipped with body-worn camera which records both audio and video. Portions of the incident were recorded. This report is merely a summary of the incident and is not intended to be an exact transcription of the entire investigation or what may have been captured with the recording system. During this incident I was wearing a department issued uniform jump suit was marked with "Police" both on the back, and department patches on each shoulder of the jumpsuit, as well as a Renton Police Velcro badge on my left chest. It would be immediately obvious to any reasonable person that I was a Police Officer.
