The following occurred in the City of Renton, King County, Washington unless otherwise stated.
During this incident 1 was equipped with body-worn camera which records both audio and video.
Portions of the incident were recorded. This report is merely a summary of the incident and is not
intended to be an exact transcription of the entire investigation or what may have been captured
with the recording system. During this incident I was wearing a department issued uniform or jump
suit and outer carrier vest which was marked with "Police"both on the front, back, and
department patches on each shoulder of the uniform or jumpsuit, as well as a Renton Police Velcro
badge on my►eft chest. It would be immediately obvious to any reasonable person that I was a
Police Officer.
On 2/2/2026 at 1306 hours I was dispatched to a hit and run collision at the intersection of SE
Petrovitsky Rd and 108th Ave SE.
I met with the victim, identified as Sara M. Ochoa (DOB: 08/14/1978) by WA DL, and asked what
happened. Sara stated that she was driving her 2024 Subaru Outback (WA LP: CKD9034) on SE
Petrovitsky Rd facing West at 108th Ave SE. Ochoa stated that she was in the lefthand turn lane
preparing to perform a lefthand turn to proceed South on 108th Ave SE.
Ochoa stated that while traveling in the lefthand turn lane, a 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E (WA LP:
CFU6181) emerged from the private parking lot on the South side of SE Petrovitsky Rd. Ochoa stated
that the Ford entered the roadway, forcing her to slam on her brakes and swerve left to avoid it.
Ochoa stated that the Ford then "snaked" its way into the lane in front of her and upon doing so
there was minor contact.
Ochoa showed me that it appears that the rear passenger side of the Ford scraped along the front
passenger side bumper of her Subaru. Due to the minor damage, I believe that the other involved
driver was unaware that they were involved in a collision.
Ochoa was unable to provide a strong description of the driver of the Ford, but did say that they

appeared to be shorter, which means that the registered owner was likely not the driver as he stands
at 6'0" tall. I located an old phone number for the registered owner of the Ford, but was sent directly
to voicemail.
At this time, there are no identifiable suspects in this case. Ochoa is willing to assist in prosecution,
however I am doubtful that an identification of a suspect driver will be possible.
