Narrative
Unit 2 told me that she was traveling West on SE 192nd St just as she was passing 106th Ave SE Unit 1 crossed
the center line colliding into her. She said that her airbags went off and covered her view but once she got out,
she noticed the vehicle left the scene. She said that it was a dark sedan that collided with her from what she
saw. She told me she had left shoulder pain from the air bag deploying.
Renton Fire came to the scene and evaluated the Unit 2 driver.
A citizen then came by the scene and told me that a dark colored sedan that looked like it was in a wreck was
parked in the middle of the intersection at 108th Ave SE and SE 196th St. Upon responding to that
intersection, I found an abandoned vehicle that had fresh damage which was constant with Unit 2's
explanation of the accident. I noticed that the vehicle still had keys in the ignition and was in neutral.
There was no driver to be seen in the area.The vehicle's damage was to the front driver's side which was
consistent with the damage to Unit 2 driver side of her vehicle. I photographed the vehicle and impounded it.
The photos were uploaded to evidence.
Unit 2 was given a case number for reference and for her insurance
