On 02/07/2026 at approximately 1539 hours, I was dispatched to the 2500 block of NE 3rd St in the City
of Renton, County of King,State of Washington for a hit and run accident with no injuries.
I contacted the reporting party by phone who verbally identified herself as Khaliya Kenijah Thompson
(DOB 02/15/2003).
Thompson was the unit 2 driver in her black 2003 Honda Pilot(CTX9835/WA)VIN/2HKYF18583H000875.
Thompson originally provided the plate#CTX9836/WA,which did not come back to her described
vehicle. She then retrieved her registration and found that the registration had the#CTX9835/WA listed. I
advised her to contact the DMV and get the correct plates or new plates.
Unit 1 was a green 1993 Toyota Land Cruiser(CV9293H/WA)VIN/JT3DJ81 W5P0029623,with the driver
being described as a white mate 50-60-year-old, medium build.
Thompson stated she was traveling east on NE 3rd St in lane 2. Unit 1 merged from lane 1 into
Lane 2
at about the 2500 block of NE 3rd ST. Unit 1 collided into unit 2 in the front passenger side
causing
damage.
Unit 1 then proceeded east on NE 3rd St,then turned south onto Edmonds Ave NE. Unit 2 believed they
were stopping to exchange info. Unit 1 then made multiple turns and went back out to NE 3rd St,without
stopping.
Thompson stated she was 85%sure she would be able to identify the driver.
Unit#1 (SUSPECT)committed one(1)count of Hit-and-Run—Attended by being involved in an accident
with another vehicle,which is attended, and failing to stop and remain at the scene until fulfilling all
statutory duties(provide name, address, insurance company, policy,vehicle license, exhibit driver's
License and render reasonable assistance to any person injured).
