Subject: Appticant's Statement of Risk Acceptance and Notification Commitment
Project Name: Footbatt Northwest LLC - Subject Site 12 Seahawks Way
To Whom it May Concern:
l, as the project director and authorized owner's representative of Footbatt Northwest LLC,
and owner's appticant for the Shoretine Substantial Development Permit for the subject
site, hereby acknowledge and accept the risks associated with devetoping in an unstabte
area as identified bythe Cityof Renton and its reviewing agencies.
Specificatty, I understand that the geotogic hazard at this site consists of highty
compressib[e peat and undertying sitty soits. The "unstable potentia[" risk consists of
differential settlement of fitl and structures ptaced on the ground surface that are not pite-
supported. I recognize that these conditions may resutt in uneven settlement of the ground
and any structures buitt upon non-pi[e-supported foundations.
I further commit that, prior to any sate or transfer of the site, or any structu res or portions of
structures [ocated on the site, I wit[ advise alt prospective purchasers, in writing, of the
unstable potential of the area as described above. This notification witt ctearty state the
risks of differentiaI seft[ement associated with the geotogic conditions present at the site.
I understand that this letter is a requirement for the Shoretine SubstantiaI Deve[opment
permit application and is being provided to futfittthat requirement. Shoutd you have any
