Narrative
All addresses listed herein, unless otherwise noted, are within the limits of the city of Renton King County WA.
This report is a summation of events that occurred and is not an exact sequence of events.
On 02-11-26, at approx. 0506 hrs, I was dispatched to a phone report involving a hit and run that occurred in
the 400 block of Park Ave N.
I called the victim/reporting party, self-identified as Keiko Abernathy(08-11-55)who said at 0418 hrs she was
hit by another car. She was on her way to work at Boeing, driving north on Park Ave N in the left through lane.
Another car turned right, out of the Shell gas station parking lot,to go south on Park Ave N.
She saw it and tried to swerve but was unable to avoid the collision.The other car's front passenger corner hit
her front passenger corner, causing minor visible damage.After the collision, both vehicles stopped.The other
driver didn't get out but when asked to stop and exchange information, refused and didn't want her to call the
police.That driver then left the scene going south and did not return.
The suspect vehicle is only described as a dark colored sedan with no further information.The suspect driver is
believed to be a Hispanic male but due to the distance and darkness, cannot be described further. Keiko
cannot identify if seen again.
Keiko went on to work where she called the police. She stated her vehicle is making odd noises now and
doesn't drive right.
Her vehicle is identified as a silver 2012 Toyota RAV4, WASP AJX5046.
