Officer Narrative
Narrative
On 02-05-2026 at approximately 1152 hours, I was dispatched to non-injury traffic collision in the 800 block of
Houser Way S in the City of Renton, County of King, State of Washington. I arrived on scene at approximately
1202 hours.
I contacted the driver of Unit#1, Pfieffer who told me he was parked on the side of the roadway making a
delivery to a nearby business. After finishing the delivery he was attempting to merge back into traffic when the
front driver side corner of his delivery truck hit Unit#2. Pfieffer told me he never saw Unit#2 in his mirror until
he made contact with his delivery truck.
I contacted the driver of Unit#2, Smith who told me he was making a right turn from Wells Ave S onto Houser
Way S. As his vehicle drove past Unit#1 the front of the Unit#1 struck the rear passenger side bumper area of
his vehicle.
Based off the impact location of the collision it appeared that Unit#2 had already made the right turn and was
completely in its lane of travel on Houser Way S when Unit#1 attempted to merge into the lane of travel from a
parked location.
