EG78120 CASE# 26-1315 DATE OF COLLI r�510NN + 02/15/26 19:55 L1 NARRATIVE CASE NO. 26-1315 Narrative - Collision Unless otherwise noted the following events occurred within the City of Renton, County of King, State of Washington while I was working uniformed patrol. This report is not an exact sequencing of events and statements have been paraphrased and summarized. BWC (body-worn camera) available. On 02/15/2026 at approximately 1957 hours I was dispatched to a report of a collision involving a pedestrian near the intersection of SE Carr Rd and 106th PI SE. Upon my arrival I contacted the reporting party, identified via WA Driver's License as Ronald C Treyes (DOB 12/10/1978). Ronald stated the following: At approximately 1955 hours, while driving westbound on SE Carr RD in the center lane, he struck a pedestrian who was crossing the street southbound towards Fred Meyers. This person appeared to be a 14-16 y/o black female wearing red and green pants and a blue sweatshirt. She was walking with another 14-16 y/o black male. After being hit, she was thrown to the ground by the impact, rolled once or twice, then got up and walked away. Ronald was travelling at the speed limit just before the collision and managed to brake to approximately 25mph as the collision occurred. He had a green light and neither subject was using the crosswalk to cross the street. An area check was conducted but the pedestrians were not located. The only reporting party for this incident was Donald. The front end of Donald's vehicle was damaged, with a shattered grill and a large dent in the center of the hood. I took photos and uploaded them to evidence. Donald estimates repairs will cost $10,000. He was wearing his seatbelt and I did not detect any signs of impairment. As of now (02/1 5/2026 2135 hours) no other party has called to report the collision. I provided Donald with the case number. This concludes my involvement in this case.
