The log will be anchored with manta ray soil anchors and steel chains. Concrete stairs for beach access will be installed landward of the ordinary high water mark. The property address is 4163 Williams Avenue North in Renton Washington. A shoreline exemption is required from the City of Renton. The project site is zoned as Residential 10du/ac (R-10). Adjacent properties are zoned as Residential 10du/ac (R-10). The project site is on the shoreline of Lake Washington and is approximately 0.16 miles from May Creek. 4163 LLC is the owner of the property. The property is a single family residential lot with an existing single family house. The existing shoreline consists of a gravel beach with logs. Erosion is occurring landward of the existing logs. The existing soil type at the site is norma sandy loam. The work will be done during the work window opening between July 16th and December 31st. The estimated fair market value of the project is $6,000. The work is exempt from the requirement of a shoreline substantial development permit because it is repair of an existing structure (WAC 173-27-040). The work will take place in November or December 2025. Authorization from the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife is required for the project.
