What are Indoor
Recreation Facilities?
“A place designed and equipped
for the conduct of sports and
leisure-time activities within an
enclosed space.”
What are the proposed
changes?
•Currently divided into two uses:
“existing” and “new” facilities.
•Recreation facilities can activate
vacant buildings and promote a
healthy community, so our goal is
to make regulations more
permissive.
•Staff propose condensing it into
one use and simplifying associated conditions, where appropriate.
