NARRATIVE
Case 26-595
1 was working as a fully uniformed City of Renton Police Officer in a fully marked City of Renton,
Police Car as unit#3R13. All events took place in the City of Renton, County of King, State of
Washington unless otherwise noted.
This report is a summary of events that occurred and is not an exact sequencing of events.
Statements have been paraphrased and summarized. At the time of this call my body worn camera
was activated.
On 1/21/2026, at 2103 hours, I was dispatched to Se Carr Road and 108th Ave Se for a report of a
blocking collision. When I arrived, I observed Unit 1 a 2017, Black Ford Escape (WA plate CSJ4949),
had re-ended Unit 2 a 2010, Black Nissan Altima (WA plate CSG4360). I had both drivers of both
vehicles move their cars off the road to the 711-parking lot on SE Carr Road.
Unit 1 driver was identified a Chanira S Fualau (DOB 01/30/2008), and the Unit 2 driver was identified
as Eva Townsend (DOB 02/13/2008). According to Eva she was stopped in traffic at the stoplight at
108th and Carr Road in the eastbound lanes. Eva felt the car behind her hit her, and it caused her
bumper to fall off. Eva declined any medical attention. I took photos of the damage to Eva's bumper
and later uploaded them to evidence.com.
I spoke to Chanria who stated she was taking a sip of water and saw the light turn green at the
intersection. Chanria did not see that the car in front of her was not moving, and she struck the car.
Chanria's front radiator was damaged and was leaking radiator fluid. I took photos of the damage and
later uploaded them to evidence.com. Charina's parents were contacted via phone and stated that
the 2017 Ford Escape was not insured.
I completed an exchange of information sheet and provided a copy to both Eva and Chanria. Both
cars where drivable after the collision and there were not any injuries. Nothing further at this time.
