EG79803 CASE# 26-1448 OATS OF COLLI r�510NN + 02/20/26 17:25 L1 NARRATIVE 26-1448 At about 1727 hours on 02/20/2026 1 responded to a single vehicle rollover accident near Houser Way Bypass and Sunset Blvd N., in the city of Renton, King County, Washington. Initial call notes from dispatch said that "NOW, 1 MVA.. VEH ROLLED OVER AND IS UPSIDE DOWN .. UNK IF DRIVER DRIVER EXITED VEH .. VEH IS WHI SEDAN ...SEE RELATED EMS&Fire CALL RF26- 2538." 1 arrived on scene and observed a silver Chevrolet Malibu (ATM5516/WA) rolled over onto its roof on Houser Way Bypass. It appeared the vehicle was initially travelling northbound on Sunset Blvd N when it veered off the roadway to the left, struck the concrete barrier wall on the left side of Sunset Blvd N, and rolled over down onto Houser Way Bypass. The vehicle was unattended when I arrived. Initial reports stated witnesses observed a hispanic female (later identified via WADOL as Valery Aron-Gonzalez 02/26/04) exit the vehicle and flee northbound on Houser Way Bypass. Later, a bystander was flagged down by Valery and was asked to take her to Valley Medical Center. He agreed to drive her, but eventually Valery asked to get out of his car somewhere in Tukwila. Family of Valery continued to call her cell phone which was recovered on scene and they told Ofc. Turner she was having a mental crisis which is likely what caused the crash. Ofc. Turner was able to locate Valery at the Olive Garden in Tukwila. Valery advised Ofc. Turner she was having a PTSD episode from a rape she was the victim of in the past and was having a mental health crisis which is what led her to crash her vehicle. Valery did not have any insurance for her vehicle. Ofc. Turner had Valery involuntarily committed to the hospital for mental health evaluation. I had the vehicle towed by Gene Meyers Towing. Photos uploaded via AXON Capture. This concludes my involvement with this case. During this incident, I was equipped with a body-worn camera, which records both audio and video. Portions of this incident were recorded. This report is merely a summary of the incident and is not intended to be an exact transcription of the entire investigation or what may have been captured with the recording system. I was operating a fully marked Police Tahoe which was equipped with overhead emergency lights and sirens.
