This fixed-price Change Order includes all labor, materials, and equipment, costs for the following approved scope revisions:
CR-010: Per RFI 044, furnish and install stainless steel flashing at the front metal panel overhang to provide support for the weather-resistive barrier (WRB).
CR-011: Per RFI 042, furnish and install plywood backing at the three awnings to support attachment of DMD metal panels.
Note:**Costs do not include general condition and general requirement cost compensation for time impacts. Andersen reserves our rights to general condition and general
requirement cost compensation for time impacts caused by this change should they be needed at the end of the project.**
Pricing does not include Washington State Sales Tax (WSST). WSST will be applied at each billing.

ADDING A CONTINUOUS STAINLESS STEEL FLASHING
IS ACCEPTABLE
CL/MITHUN
Per Details 11/A5.40 and 10/S6.02, the PL 1/4" × 6" steel plates are
indicated to be installed at 3'-0" O.C., which creates voids between the
plates. Detail 11/A5.40 also shows the WRB lapping over the steel plate
condition.
The WRB cannot span or bridge across the voids between the steel plates
as currently detailed.
As shown in the proposed rendering, we suggest providing a continuous
stainless steel flashing wrapped around the steel plates to create a
continuous substrate for the WRB to lap over and maintain proper
continuity.
Please advise if this proposed approach is acceptable, or provide an
alternate detail to address WRB continuity at this condition.

OPTION 2 IS ACCEPTABLE.
CL/MITHUN
Detail 4/A5.40 depicts a 1/2" steel awning with the metal roof panel installed
over the steel plate. As detailed, this condition is not constructible.
Please advise on the preferred approach from the following options:
Option 1:
Stop the standing seam roof panel above the 1/2" steel plate and do not
clad the plate. This would be similar to shroud Detail 17/A5.41.
Option 2:
Install 1/2" plywood over the steel plate and attach it using a Hilti
powder-actuated nailer (see SK-1), then fasten the metal flashing/panel to
the plywood.
Please confirm which option is acceptable or provide an alternate detail.
