Narrative
I was working as a fully uniformed City of Renton Police Officer in a fully marked City of Renton
Police Car as unit#3R15.
This report is a summary of events that occurred and is not an exact sequencing of events.
Statements have been paraphrased and summarized.
On 02/25/2026 at approximately 0006 hours I was dispatched to a blocking accident at Rainier
Ave S/ Renton Center Way SW, in the City of Renton, King County WA.
Dispatch advised:
1 VEH INTO LAMP POST.VEH BLKING THE INTERSECTION, LINK INJS DRIVERR ON FONE
AND CONS...LIGHT POLE IS DOWN
Officer Kearse arrived on scene first and advised that the vehicle (WA/D20627E)was no longer
on scene. However, a witness (who left immediately after speaking with him)told him the
vehicle was now parked at Chipotle (439 Rainier Ave S in the City of Renton, King County WA).
The witness mentioned the driver was a hispanic male.
I arrived at Chipotle, and I saw the Ford van had heavy front end damage,the airbags were
deployed.There was no driver in the vehicle, and no one flagged me down claiming ownership of
the vehicle. I asked Chipotle employees if they saw anyone leave the vehicle, however they
stated they did not.
I relocated to the scene of the accident;there was a large PSE light pole (#2455B40) (PSE was
advised of this) knocked down partially blocking Rainier Ave S and the sidewalk next to the
intersection. I saw tires marks and dirt from where the vehicle hit the pole and proceeded to
drive into the Chipotle parking lot.
The vehicle is registered to JCRM Services LLC out of Marysville WA. I was able to find a contact
number for the company. I spoke to the owner; he said his name was Jorge Guzman (DOB
04/23/1990) (Phone number 206-330-3117). 1 told him his vehicle was parked at Chipotle

currently, he said that he did park the vehicle.When I brought up that the vehicle hit a light pole
in the City of Renton roughly 10 minutes earlier, he stated that he believes someone may have
stolen the van.Jorge says his vehicle has been stolen in the past. I did not see any ignition
damage on the vehicle,the vehicle was locked. I provided him the case number and advised him
the vehicle is being impounded.
At this time,there is no suspect information.
