On 2/6/026 1 was working as a uniformed patrol officer and driving a marked patrol vehicle for the City
of Renton. I was dispatched to a report of a hit and run that had occurred sometime overnight near
2404 NE 17th PI Renton/King/WA. Mikael X Miller DOB: 5/18/1986 was calling to report that
someone had struck his 2014 Nissan 370Z WA/BNF4332 and fled the scene.
I called Mikael and asked him what happened, he said that sometime overnight his vehicle had been
struck. He said his vehicle was parked near the intersection of NE 17th PI and Edmonds Ave, he did
not know his directionals so he could not be more specific. He said he was not sure if the suspect
vehicle had turned before the collision. He said there was heavy damage to the rear end of the car,
and it was not drivable. He said that he did not have any suspect information.
Mikael said that his neighbor had alerted him of the collision the morning of 2/6/2026, she told him
that her husband had come home around 2300 hours on 2/5/2026 and saw the vehicle with damage.
They also did not have any suspect information.
Mikael said he was going to put up a Ring Doorbell notification to see if anybody had surveillance or
had seen anything, but he had nothing further.
The diagram for this collision is a speculation based on Mikael's description of the damage and
location of his vehicle and it is not necessarily an accurate description of events.
At 1300 hours Mikael called back to say the suspect vehicle had left an imprint on his rear bumper. I
sent him an Axon Link and he sent me several photographs.
I viewed the photographs and it appears as if the plate resembles C?Z3120, state unknown. The
second letter is too obstructed to identify. A Flock search returned with a possible of CTZ3120. This
returned to a Kia Soul registered out of Olympia WA. The Flock hit showed two hits of the vehicle
near SE Carr Rd and 106th PI SE. A LINX check did not show any return for that vehicle. I ran both
the regsitered owners for the Kia and did not recieve any returns.
At 1530 hours Mikael called to report that the tow truck driver who picked up his car ran the plaete
with as CSZ3120 adn got a return for a white Hyunda Kona to a Bellevue address. There is no
evidence to link this car to the collision.
