Mayor Denis Law opened the meeting of the Renton City Council.
DON PERSSON, Council President Pro Tern; Ed Prince; Marcie Palmer.
Absent: RANDY CORMAN; GREG TAYLOR; RICH ZWICKER; TERRI BRIERE.
DENIS LAW, Mayor; JAY COVINGTON, Chief Administrative Officer; GARMON
NEWSOM, Assistant City Attorney; BONNIE WALTON, City Clerk; PREETI
SHRIDHAR, Deputy Public Affairs Administrator; EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
DIRECTOR DEBORAH NEEDHAM, Fire & Emergency Services Department;
COMMANDER CHARLES KARLEWICZ, Police Department.
Mayor Law stated that due to a lack of quorum the meeting is canceled and
there will be no official business conducted or action taken.
Council President Pro Tern Persson stated that the next regular City Council
meeting is scheduled for 11/4/2013, and announced the schedule for the
upcoming standing committee meetings.
The meeting adjourned at 7:02 p.m.
