Secretary I WILLIAM ADAMS Principal Engineer JOEY ROOT Business Coordinator MANUEL CRUZ Director SCOTT BABCOCK Airport Operations & Maintenance Supervisor CHRIS MESA Airport Maintenance Worker DONALD KRAMER Airport Maintenance Worker BILLY REEVES Airport Maintenance Worker JOSHUA MARKOVICH Airport Operations Manager MARTIN PASTUCHA Public Works Administrator The airport's focus for the year remains on preventative maintenance, particularly through improved pavement management and leveraging our online Airport Management System (Veoci) for: •Efficient work order & maintenance handling •Digital lease management of tie-down & hangars •Storage of important documents •Automating contract management •Streamlining how the airport communicates with tenants Introduction to the Renton Airport 2025 Renton Airport Operations Total Operations 88,442 DAILY OPERATIONS 1200 Aero, a real-time traffic system that offers: ➢Live air and ground operations tracking & live CTAF and tower audio, accessible through our website. ➢Improved accuracy in tracking-based aircraft and annual operations. ➢Enhanced analytics to better address noise complaints. ➢Comprehensive activity tracking at both the airport and the W36 seaplane base, giving us a full picture of operations. ➢Landings 37,158 ➢Take offs 43,369 ➢Go arounds 3,426 ➢Overflights 4,489 Over $2 million in pavement upgrades to the southwest corner near the Administration Office. a. New public parking for tenants and customers. b. 4 additional transient aircraft tie-downs c. Installed infrastructure to support future electric aircraft charging and public charging stations in the airport office lot. d. Received grant from Dept. of Ecology to fund the EV charging stations. e. The windsock tie-down is nearing completion. f. $18 million FAA grant for the upcoming Taxiway A reconstruction project, over the next two years. This major investment represents a huge accomplishment for our airport staff and engineer, and it will significantly improve operations for years to come. Grant Applications and Project Updates Windsock – waiting for good weather to level the pavement Taxiway Alpha – Construction starting May 2026 Application for New Air Traffic Control Tower. Total project cost is $19.6M. Requesting $17.67M from the FAA. Sustainability Grant for EV Chargers at Airport Admin.
