On 3/5/2026 at 1426 hours I was dispatched to a motor vehicle collision report at Airport Way
and Shattuck Ave S in the City of Renton, King County,Washington.This incident occurred on
03/04/2026
Pre-Collision
Driver 2 stated that he was traveling North on Shattuck Ave S approaching Airport way, preparing
to go straight ahead.
Driver 1 was unable to provide comment as he was not present for the report.
Collision
Driver 2 stated that he had a green light and entered the intersection to proceed into the Renton
Airport area at West Perimeter Rd. Upon doing so, Driver 2 stated that he was nearly clear of the
intersection when Unit 1 performed a right on red from Westbound Airport Way in the#1
righthand turn lane. Driver 2 stated that Unit 1 turned wide and upon doing so, the front drivers
side bumper of Unit 1 collided with the front passenger side bumper of Unit 2 causing minor
damage.
Injuries
None reported.
Vehicle Disposition
Both vehicles operational.
Proximate Cause
I do not have the story from Driver 1 as to what happened.This report is for insurance purposes
only and no drivers will be cited for this collision.
