Explanation
Drainage Report All Add page numbers 3
Drainage Report All Document needs significant editing—both
grammatical/spelling and technical. In many
places the grammatical errors change the technical
meaning (e.g., “discharge to a series of BioPods
and Bioscapes.” Vs. “discharge to a BioPod or
Bioscape”), or are grammatically incorrect and
make the sentence non-sensical.
Some of these are listed specifically in comments
below, but not all.
1,2,3 CPL Response: Typos
have been removed and
discrepancies in
terminology resolved.

Both “Drainage Plan” and “Temporary Erosion
and Sedimentation Control Plan” are defined by
the acronym (TESC)?
3 CPL Response: TESC
removed from PDF 4 where
Drainage Plan is
referenced. TESC is only
TESC as suggested.

“This project proposes to construct a drainage
system with a new network of underground pipes
and catch basins to collect surface water runoff
throughout the site and direct it to a water quality
treatment facilities.” Not a true statement
1 CPL Response: That intent
is for all new and disturbed
existing areas. We will
clarify as needed as we
believe the statement to be
correct in the context of
the plans.

“This project proposes to construct a drainage
system with a new network of underground pipes
and catch basins, to collect the drainage from the
roofs and roadways as well as the surface water
1 CPL Response: Multiple
facilities make up the water
quality treatment system.

techniques described, not one.

1 CPL Response: Context
only, have updated

“we will provide fine mesh screens on all discharge
pipes.” Address maintenance/flooding issues
1 CPL Response: The mesh
is sized per previous
agreement with City, to
allow flooding to enter
system mitigation but not
allow any errant fishes into
the system. Maintenance
should be moderate, as all
drainage is routed first
through water quality
facilities, unlike old Boeing
site operations.

“conveyed to a series of BioPods and Bioscapes”
Is this a treatment train in series? Mentioned
twice.
1 CPL Response: Changed
“and” to “or”. Final
decision will occur prior to
Civil permit submittal after
EIS. Treatment levels are
equivalent.
