EG59424 CASE# 25-80003 OF COLLISION 11/19/25 09:06 OF CbLLI510N NARRATIVE red/1 h/r straight blu/2 lane 2 CC On 11/19/2025 at about 0906 hours within the city limits of Renton/King/Wa I responded to a injury hit and run crash at the intersection of East valley Hwy and SW 43rd St. The fleeing suspect vehicle was described as a light red or orange Chevy Camaro WA license number CKJ8011. I contacted the driver of unit 2 near the 100 block of SW 43rd St. He was being checked by Renton Fire. He used Google translator (Chinese) to explain his version of the collision. He told me he was in the middle lane of East Valley near the intersection of SW 43rd St when unit 1 from the right lane/lane 1 struck his vehicle and fled the scene. He was checked and released by Fire for neck pain. Damages to his vehicle did not require a tow truck. While I was onscene with unit 2 a witness called and said he watched the crash and was able to follow, locate and photograph the vehicle that fled the scene. Described as an orange Camaro/CKJ8011. The witness said the vehicle was parked behind the Alki Bakery. 1 went to the Alki Bakery and asked the site/production manager if he recognized any of his employees driving an orange Camaro. He used his surveillance cameras and was able to clearly see the car at a higher than normal speed passing by the camera that caught the Camaro as it drove behind the building. He told me he basically knows every person and their vehicle that works there but they do have so newer employees and he will have to check. He told me he would contact me later. The manager told me that he did have a new employee, that called out sick today name Jorge Luis Ordonez. He said Jorge called out sick because he had recently been in a car crash this morning. When I contacted the witness by phone he provided me the following. Although this is a summary of our phone conversation. The witness/Kaleb told me that he was behind both the Tesla and Camaro southbound on East Valley Rd. He told me that unit 2/Tesla was in the middle lane/lane 2 and unit 1/Camaro was in the right lane/lane 1 Kaleb said very close to or in the intersection unit 1/Camaro changed lanes into the side of unit 2 then fled south on East Valley Rd into Kent. Kaleb was making a delivery and it happened that the suspect driver-unit 1 fled into the same industrial complex as Kaleb's intended destination. He watched the driver of unit 1 drive behind the Alki Bakery building 8815 S 190th St Kent 98031. Kaleb thought the suspect driver must work there since this is an unusual place to driver to at the back side of a building at a dead end. He also told me he thinks people tend to gravitate to places they are familiar with, home, work, friends house, somewhere under stress they may feel more safe. Kaleb watched the driver pacing next to his Camaro and talking on the phone. He described the driver as a early to mid 20,s Hispanic, possibly Asian male with dark hair about 57' with a thin build. Kaleb told me the didnt stick around because the look on the suspect drivers face seemed to be that of an upset and desperate person and he decided for his safety he would leave the area. He told me he circled back to make his delivery and noticed that the Camaro had moved from behind alki Bakery and re-parked in the same business parking lot near what he described as a van lines type business. He told me the car was parked as if the driver was trying to tuck it away from sight. He said at this point he saw and made intentional contact with a Renton Police Officer in the area and gave a quick verbal description of what he saw. I located the Camaro in the same complex. The staff for this business where the Camaro was parked said the car pulled up and a silver vehicle pulled up without parking and the driver of unit 1- Camaro got into the silver car and left. While I was still onscene a silver car pulled and was ID'd by staff as the same of similar to the car that picked up the driver of the Camaro. That car did not stop seeing the PAGE 3 OF 5 REPORT NO. EG59424 CASE# 25-80003 OF COLLISION 11/19/25 09:06 OF CbLLI510N NARRATIVE police were onscene and left the area. A few days later I returned to Alki Bakery and asked if Ordonez had returned to work since the collision and they said yes. Staff walked Ordonez to a double open door conference area with the doors remaining open. I explained with the help of a staff member who speaks fluent Spanish to Ordonez, he was free to leave, he was not being detained, he did not have to answer any questions, this was in reference to a collision he was involved in. I stood in a position so that I was not blocking the doorway and Ordonez said he understood and said he would cooperate. I asked him if he had an orange Camaro and he said yes. Did he let anyone else drive it or only him and he said he drives it only, no one else. I asked him if he would explain what happened in reference to the crash and he said the following. He was driving his car to work at the bakery. That he made a mistake and bumped into another car down by the gas station-EVR at SW 43rd St. He said he panicked and knew it wasnt right to leave but drove straight to work and stopped behind the building, made a call then parked elsewhere and got a ride away from his work site by a person he knows. He did not provide additional information on that person. He told me he did not have insurance for his vehicle. He confirmed that he does not have a driver license in this state or another. I told him his DOL was expired ID card only in Florida and he agreed he does not have a license to drive but drives regardless. He told me he was scared and fled the area and knew he had hit another vehicle. Ordonez did cause an injury collision and flee the scene without meeting the requirements of RCW 46.52.020 while driving a car with suspended registration under RCW 46.29.605.6 he failed to surrender his documents/plates to the vehicle he claims to own. As the owner of this vehicle he is required to surrender the plates in relation to the suspended registration Ref RCW 46.29.605.4. Ordonez knowing drove without a valid driver license RCW 46.20.015 and without valid insurance for his vehicle, RCW 46.30.020. 1 cited Ordonez for the above listed RCW's, criminal via the prosecutors office and NOI mailed by courts. I certify (declare) under penalty of perjury under the laws of the State of Washington that the foregoing is true and correct. M.Leverton/2517 City of Renton/King/Wa 12/09/2025 PAGE 4 OF 5 REPORT NO.
