CALMING LOCATIONS CAG-22-121
THIS AMENDMENT, dated for reference purposes only as January 13, 2026 is by and between
the City of Renton (the “City”), a Washington municipal corporation, and Perteet Inc.
(“Consultant”), a Washington Corporation. The City and the Consultant are referred to
collectively in this Amendment as the “Parties.” Once fully executed by the Parties, this
Amendment is effective as of the last date signed by both parties.
Whereas, the City engaged the services of the Consultant under Agreement CAG-22-121, dated
April 25, 2022, to provide necessary services for the 2022-2023 Traffic Calming Locations
(referred to herein as the “Agreement”);
Whereas, the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to change the scope of work, and change the
compensation in order to complete final construction plans, project specifications and opinion of
cost for additional/similar Project Site 9: S Langston Rd/SW Langston Rd between S 132nd St and
Earlington Ave SW, and Project Site 10: NE 12th St between Olympia Ave NE and Union Ave NE.
NOW THEREFORE, It is mutually agreed upon that CAG-22-121 is amended as follows:
1. Scope of Work: Section 1, Scope of Work, is amended to add work as specified in Exhibit
A-4, which is attached and incorporated herein.
2. Compensation: Section 4, Compensation, is amended so that the maximum amount of
compensation payable to Consultant is increased by $70,607.00 from $222,366.00 to
$292,973.00, including any applicable state and local sales taxes. The additional
compensation shall be paid based upon Work actuallyperformed according to the rate(s)
or amounts specified in Exhibit B-4, which is attached and incorporated herein.
3.All terms of the Agreement not explicitly modified herein shall remain in full force and
effect and such terms shall apply to Work performed according to this Amendment as if
fully set forth herein.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties have voluntarily entered into this Amendment as of the date

Invoiced direct labor may be less than the maximum rate shown per job classification but will
not exceed the maximum rate. Rates are subject to renegotiation annually from the
anniversary of contract execution, unless otherwise specified.

Subject: Acceptance FYE 2024 ICR – CPA Report
Dear Denice M. Moan:
We have accepted your firm’s FYE 2024 Indirect Cost Rate (ICR) of 185.52% of direct labor (rate
includes 0.38% Facilities Capital Cost of Money) based on the “Independent CPA Report”
prepared by Stambaugh Ness, Inc. This rate will be applicable for WSDOT Agreements and Local
Agency Contracts in Washington only. This rate may be subject to additional review if considered
necessary by WSDOT. Your ICR must be updated on an annual basis.
Costs billed to agreements/contracts will still be subject to audit of actual costs, based on the terms
and conditions of the respective agreement/contract.
This was not a cognizant review. Any other entity contracting with the firm is responsible for
determining the acceptability of the ICR.
